Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I cycled the Train Nord. The pool was nice to cool off in after a long ride. The bed was comfortable. It’s an older hotel but clean and the gentleman who took care of my arrival was very nice.

Negative: There isn’t any place to eat nearby (no delivery service either). If you’re cycling that is a definite issue unless you have food with you. Although the locks are an automated type (key fob), I didn’t like not being able to throw a lock on the inside. Being a solo female traveler, this is important to me. When I left in the morning, I wasn’t sure what to do with my key so I left it in my room with a phone message. However; in the owner’s defense, I do not speak French. The sign on the door could have said to do that exact thing 😅

Summary: It was a good value for the money and not too terribly far from the trail.
