This basement lower unit is in a well-maintained cottage-style house located in a pleasant neighborhood. The unit features an eat-in kitchen (at the counter with bar stools), a living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and modern amenities like air conditioning, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, and high-speed internet.

Guests have full control of the HVAC system for heating and cooling.

The unit is completely private with no access between the upstairs and downstairs units. There are steps to get down to this lower level unit so please keep this in mind when booking if you have difficulty with stairs.

The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there are nearby dining options. Local attractions include Frenchman's Bay, beaches, a waterfront trail, restaurants, and shopping. Downtown Toronto is easily accessible via the Pickering Go-Train station or the nearby 401 highway. The Toronto Zoo is also a short drive away, making it a convenient and comfortable place for a beach getaway or exploring the Greater Toronto Area. Pets are welcome at this AirBnB.

Make yourself at home here in this comfortable basement unit which includes the following:

Bedroom 1 - Equipped with a double bed, and space to hang your clothes as well as drawers for additional storage space.

Bedroom 2 - Includes a queen bed, a large closet and dresser for storing your clothes. This room also includes a desk.

Bathroom - There is one bathroom and it includes a tub and shower for our guests.

Kitchen - Our kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, wine glasses, baking sheets and more. It includes a full sized oven, fridge, a dishwasher and microwave. Also included is a coffee maker, toaster and blender. Make yourself at home and cook meals while staying here.

Living Room - Relax on our comfortable section and read one of the books provided (adult and children books) or watch TV. Please note that this is a pet friendly unit and furry family members are allowed on the furniture. While we vacuum and thoroughly clean the unit in between each guest there can be stubborn pet hair that sticks in the fabric. If you have dog allergies or think that the potential for a few stray pet hairs will bother you then this unit is NOT for you. Please book elsewhere. If you are traveling with a pet then you will likely appreciate the oversized sectional that will provide ample snuggle space for you, your family and pet :)

PLEASE NOTE: This unit does not provide outdoor or yard access other than for parking. The yard is exclusively for the upstairs unit. If you bring a pet they must be on leash at all times when outside.

There is an off leash dog park less than a 5 minute walk from this unit should you want your pet to have off leash time. It is also a very walkable neighborhood with many parks and playgrounds nearby.

Additionally, while we did install additional sound proofing between the units you may hear people upstairs if they are very heavy footed, have children running or drop items. If you are bothered by these types of sounds that you may potentially hear then this unit is not for you.

We do not tolerate parties or excessive noise at night but we can’t control the general activity of daily life so please keep this in mind when booking.

If you are working while traveling there is a workstation that includes a desk and high speed internet suitable for video conferencing/zoom calls.

A full-sized washer and dryer are also available within the unit for guests to use as they need.

Extra blankets, towels, and face cloths are also provided.
