Positive: The location is great. We had a room top floor with view on the beach. The staff was very friendly. We could drop our luggage before checking to have time strolling and cycling in Vancouver. Unfortunately the elevator was out of order when we checked in, one staff helped us brought our bags to our room. The room itself is outdated but is more a suite than a room. It’s spacious and has a full kitchen (we only used the fridge).

Negative: In the elevator you could hear water dripping, not a very good omen about the general condition of the building. The matras of our double bed is worn out and should be replaced. Rooms have single glass so you hear the street noise.

Summary: Affordable Vancouverwise and alright if you are not expecting luxury.
