Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The perfect location, right at the intersection of where the main Hotel Zone road meets the road up to town as well as Parque Jaguar. You can walk to some restaurants on the hotel zone road (some decent variety within a 15-30 min walk), but I recommend getting a bike or moped since you're not in the thick of hotel zone action (which we preferred). Really clean facilities, very spacious. Rooftop pool was beautiful and always empty while we were staying there. Security guards were so kind and prompt to help. Be advised, it's not like a standard hotel with a front desk to help you with everything; you communicate with the host primarily by email/whatsapp and they give you check in and check out locations, as well as any other concierge services. The only people we actually interacted with in person were the security guards at the front of the building. We mostly messaged with the concierge on whatsapp and they were very prompt in their responses. They helped us book round-trip private airport transfers, gave recommendations on beach clubs, and book scooter rentals. We also did a lot of research on pricing beforehand so felt confident that the rates they were giving us were really reasonable and fair. Hotel was quiet and clean our entire stay. There's a pretty nice gym on the premises as well as laundry services, although we didn't use either so can't vouch for it, but looked great. Actual apartment unit was clean and well decorated.
