Summary: We spent three nights at Pepem and we absolutely loved it. Our room was in the « jungle » and we had a beautiful swimming pool. You could wake up to the sounds of the animals of the forest. The ambiance and style of the hotel is amazing. You really feel connected to nature. The highlight of our trip was our chef. We have eaten in a lot of fancy places but I can tell you that our chef’s food was on another level! Lot’s of flavor and colors! He was always available for a little talk and gave us many tips for our vacation. We saw comments regarding insects in the rooms: you are in the jungle, so obviously, you may have a few insects in your room. Our recommandation is just to close doors/windows/mostiquo net and avoid putting your lights on at night and you will survivre! We also comments regarding the fact that the windows cannot be locked, we confirm however, we felt secure to be honest. The staff made us feel like family, we would recommend the place for the retreats they are planning on doing!
