This chalet has been witness to many children’s education over the years as it was once one of the village of Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges’ schools until the mid 1960s. Certain elements, such as the roof, large row windows and hardwood floors evoke an atmosphere of bygone schooldays.
A monumental stone fireplace adorns the living and dining room which used to be one of the two classrooms. The other classroom has been subdivided into three large bedrooms.
School desks and a chalk board can be found in one of the rooms as a tribute to the Village School’s past. Adjacent, a game room will please all levels of truants.
