Completely renovated 1st floor bay front with a boat slip. Beautiful unobstructed views of the inland waterway and meadowlands. The unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a window air conditioning unit. The living room has a TV and a queen sofa bed. The dining area seats 6 with a window air conditioning unit that cools off the unit. A nice, large deck offers the views for your enjoyment. The kitchen, appliances, and furniture are only a few years old. New in 2018 - pier, aluminum ramp and floating dock. One boat slip available for tenant's use. TENANTS MUST VIEW AND WALK THRU THIS OLDER PROPERTY PRIOR TO RENTING.

Summary: Upon arrival at the home when we opened the door it had a terrible mildew and musty smell. It was filthy, someone even left a dirty pan in the oven. I wanted to unpack and start my vacation but couldn’t because I was afraid of germs due to the Covid pandemic. I thought there were specific standards that had to be met because of Covid 19. Obviously this owner did not care about that. Luckily I packed cleaning products in case of an emergency. It took me two hours with my son and daughter in law to get the place to where I felt I could unpack. I had to call Long and Foster who were the realtors who rented to us. They did send a cleaning crew after I complained but they really didn’t need to do anything at that point except for mop and vacuum. When I spoke to someone at the realty office he said “ok calm down we will send cleaners”. No other resolution like money back or a complimentary gift. Also they first rented to me knowing I had a small dog. I put it in my paperwork and email request through Vernon. They accepted my deposit and two weeks before the trip when they knew I had no other choice they told me it was not a pet friendly place but they would allow it if I paid the owner a separate 250.00 check. I had to make the money out to him directly. They ripped me off knowing I was desperate at that point. Did I mention I already paid them a security deposit of 250.00 and they wanted the additional one to be non refundable. They lied about pets because I swept up so much dog hair it wasn’t funny. They just wanted more money out of me. The property served its purpose for us and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The views from the deck were beautiful as promised but the dock was in very poor condition. Rotted wood at the bottom and very weak. We did not access hit just to be safe. The bathroom walls were peeling and th Ed refrigerator was completely rusted on the outside. They need to work on appearance and make some repairs to the house for liability reasons.
