Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Everything was great. If you stay here you will absolutely need a rental car to get around. It's about 15-20 minutes from the Vaitape main center. (We initially tried EBikes but it was not safe riding on a very narrow road and it was too far.) Great communication with Melanie. Half of the electric went out and I messaged her immediately and the owner was here right away to fix it.

Negative: On Booking.com it says it 2.5 miles from town, it's more like 8 miles from Vaitape Center. A car is a must!! There is a musty smell In the unit but I believe that is from no central air conditioning. We left both bedroom doors open and ran a/c during the day and that seemed to help. There are roosters and dogs that will wake you up every morning about 5am but it seems to be the norm here. Not enough toilet paper was In the accommodation. Also must bring your own soap for showering and shampoo. (Which we did, fortunately.)
