The space
✦ Le Héron is the perfect chalet to welcome your family during the holidays. This magnificent log cabin can accommodate up to 6 people, and has several attractions, including a wood stove and an epoxy concrete heated floor which gives it a very warm atmosphere. Bordered by a magnificent lake, the atmosphere is relaxing while being in harmony with Nature.
✦ The chalet, fitted out as one-story accommodation, has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Queen bed with a double futon, and the second bedroom has a Queen bed with two single bunk beds. Bedding and towels will be provided for the stay.
✦ With an open concept, the dining room, the kitchen and the living room are located in the heart of the chalet in a large open space. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped to allow you to cook, and even has a fondue and raclette dish. The dining table can seat up to 6 people, and the living room has several sofas and a TV with satellite cable.
✦ The chalet has a full bathroom with a tub-shower, dryer and towels, in addition to a washer and dryer.
✦ Enjoy the good weather on the terrace! A BBQ with propane will allow you to grill, and you can eat with your family on the patio furniture. In the evening, roast marshmallows around a campfire under the stars! The outdoor fire pit can be used all summer long, some logs will be provided to you.
✦ In winter, gather around the fireplace to warm up after a long day of outdoor activities.
Guest access
✧ By booking the Héron, you will have private access to the chalet, its terrace and the outdoor fire area. In addition, you will have shared access to 10km2 of nature, ie the entire domain. Consult the "Neighborhood description" section to know the attractions on the estate.
✧ By booking with us you will receive a Guest Manual giving you all the important information to know about the chalet, in addition to the addresses of relevant activities and shops nearby!
Other things to note
*FIREPLACE*
For the indoor and outdoor fireplace, we will provide around 8 logs per night for your stay. If you want more, you can write to us, we will sell you at a good price. It is recommended that you bring some kindling and paper for your convenience.
The fire pit is not accessible from November until April.
In winter: If you want to use the outdoor fireplace It is your responsibility to clear the access.
* NETWORK + WIFI *
Please note that there is no cellular data on the domain, since it is hollow in nature. The internet is present in the chalets, it will allow you to access the important things, but it is not powerful enough to support videoconferences.
*TV*
The television offers the classic Shaw Direct channels (RDS, Teletoon, etc.). There is also an HDMI cable available so you can hook up your computer to the TV.
*FISHING*
We offer a fishing package with predetermined quotas that must be reserved with us before the stay. The fishing season is from April 22nd 2022 until September 11th 2022. Note, however, that hunting is prohibited!
These lakes are ideal for recreational fishing and initiation to fishing since they are small shallow lakes.

Quotas of 50 speckled trout and 5 rainbow trout
There are 2 small accessible lakes:
• Trophy lake containing speckled trout
• Rainbow Lake containing the largest rainbow trout and also the small speckled
With the package, a rowboat and an electric motor are included. Anglers must have in their possession a provincial fishing license (purchased at Canadian Tire) and must respect the provincial quotas per person.
