2 Bedroom House in Sunrise Manor, Las Vegas
Charming bedroom home is secluded and nestled in the foothills of Sunrise Mt. Guests have shared access to the pool area. You can relax among the variety of plants and fountains. Enjoy the variety wildlife that frequent our area: roadrunners, hummingbirds, doves, quail and others. The property overlooks downtown and the strip and is a short drive away.
This single story casita features easy access to two bedrooms. One bedroom has a murphy bed in case you want to use it for an office or exercise room. Living room, dining and full kitchen. Guests have access to the covered patio, large pool area with tables, cabana and pergula. The Casita has a wall separating it from the main house. The pool, bar and lounge areas are possibly shared areas up to 4 ppl if we are i=out of the country. Nestled in the foothills of Sunrise Mountain, you will find the neighborhood quiet and peaceful.
Realtors Jim & Barb Eagan own Limestone Investments. Jim and I are both former Air Force and caught the travel bug while serving our country. We travel extensively throughout the year and for over 40 years. As we started traveling we learned a lot about places that we stayed, why we picked it, what we liked and disliked about the stay. As we started buying our own properties and manage rentals for others we incorporated these ideas.
A funny stay we had in another country when Air & V were new had green hot dogs and Mayo in a cupboard. Yukko, lol. No coffee pot and no knives to make salsa with. Rather than report the owner we invited her for a visit. She appreciated us help her come up to reasonable standards and amenities. This philosophy carries through on our stays today and we ask guests to also help all owners/managers with things that can be overlooked or be unnoticed since they don't live or stay in the properties. As this really can hurt a person that depends on the income with one bad review. Albeit, gross negligence and rude operators need blasted.
I have always been in customer service positions and thoroughly enjoy the interactions about travels and accepting suggestions on the rentals we manage. Recently, I had to drop by a property with family members from Cuba, Mexico and France. Honestly, the languages were a bit funny with translations or charades to make a point. We enjoyed each others so much I ditched work that day and we had a blast for hours and hours. Now, I can't do that very often but it was a very pleasurable afternoon. That's a small taste of why I love this job.

Lease and ID required. Max persons are 4 and are restricted to those on the lease. Clean grill, stove and dished before checking out. Garbage to the bin at street level. No glitter, no sparkles, no pets, no smoking but have fun. Swim all night as long as no diving or splashing after 9pm.

The key to the Casita is in a lockbox on a hose bib on the North side (right of door). You will be given the code prior to your arrival. Please watch this video before you leave. Amenities
Wifi - The router name is CASITA and the password is limestone
TV - Living Room (Cable, DVD, Roku = Netflix etc - manual on table)
Washer & Dryer - Is located in the hallway between the bedrooms.
Kitchen
Feel free to use our cooking ware, utensils, and appliances as needed. We have plenty of storage space available for groceries. We do not have a dishwasher. Crazy right? We simply never use one.
Refrigerators
The one in the kitchen does not have an ice maker. There are ice trays in the freezer if you wish to make your own ice.
Air Conditioning - There are 2 areas with 2 systems for a total of 4 systems:
Please leave doors and windows closed while in operation!! AC is expensive and if we find evidence you left these open during operation, we may hunt you down with extra $$$. Air conditioners can “freeze up” if you keep them running continuously in this desert air.
Car Radios
Please remember this is a family neighborhood and our neighbors will not be happy when you return at 3am with your woofers vibrating their windows.
Smoking
The Casita is a non-smoking environment. If you need to smoke, please smoke outside. Please dispose of your cigarettes in the garbage can.
Fire Extinguishers
One is located in the kitchen next to the toaster and another one is located at the bar (palapa) down by the pool.
Garbage
Main Bin - We have a huge contractor type of bin at the end of the driveway. This bin is emptied on Wednesdays & Saturdays but not consistent.
Recycle - If you decide to set aside glass or plastic, just set it on the back of the steps of the main house, we will collect them.
Pool Unavailable until March 2021
There are pool toys and towels just inside the pool house. There are also some random ‘lost & found” shorts that you are welcome to. There are nets for skimming just above the entrance to the pool house. There is no reason to play with the pool pump. We have a fellow that puts chemicals in early Monday mornings and our yard guy cleans the pool on Sunday mornings. Super important to take pool toys / floaties etc out of the pool at night. They get clogged in the skimmer and makes which will keep the pool cloudy.
NO GLASS NEAR THE POOL PLEASE
Pool Level
It is very unlikely you will have to play with the pool level unless we are gone for more than a few weeks. If the pool gets below the skimmer intake, please fill it manually. Plants
All the landscaping timers are set so you don’t have to worry about any of that stuff. If you see water spurting in the air during your stay, please contact maintenance at (702) 690-9201 and they will fix it.
Cat
We have one cat named Boots. He is black with white paws. He is super skittish and you probably will never see him.
Lights
The landscaping lights turn on / off automatically.
Front Porch Lights - These come on/off automatically.
Gazebo & Palapa Lights - The light switch is under the palapa to the far right behind a white board above the garden hose.

Bar / Restaurant - Sunrise Casablanca (6320 E Charleston )
This is our favorite place to go to hang out with locals and have a few drinks. It is 1.5 miles away. Walking distance for the hardy. Uphill after you are drunk. Lol. It’s open 24x7 and the food isn’t bad. It’s super smokey inside so we usually sit on the back porch. They have a large screen TV and a few fire pits. It’s nice after the sun sets.

This large chain grocery store has everything you would want. There is also a Starbucks inside.

The Strip
A whole book would be needed to cover what is offered on “The Strip”. We have lived here over 15 years and can’t keep up with everything that’s happening. Since we are a bit older, we have no recommendations for all the hip dance clubs. All the Cirque du Soleil performances are excellent and a bit pricey. Our favorite has been Absinthe. Walking around Bellagio and the Paris will give you a central perspective of The Strip. Our favorite dining is at the top of The Stratosphere. The environment is formal, the food is excellent and the views are amazing. Get your reservations for about a half hour before sunset if you want the best viewing experience.
I highly recommend Uber or Lyft to the Strip as parking is expensive. The cost will be about $15 one way which is about how much you will pay in parking.
Special Events / Festivals
You may be participating in some of the famous festivals or parties. The only thing that costs us more money to clean is glitter. That stuff is really really hard to clean up. Seriously. Don’t wear it or scrub yourself clean the minute you get in the house. You will be charged $100 if we have to spend another hour on our hands and knees getting the glitter cleaned up.
Fremont Street
This is about 8 miles away and our favorite entertainment area of Las Vegas. It offers easy strolling among casinos, bars and restaurants. If you like to people watch, this is heaven. Street vendors, entertainers and “interesting people” are everywhere.
