Walking through the arbor, you will step inside to an island inspired retreat with original hardwood floors. Relax in this warm, inviting home & enjoy the ocean views from the front windows. A fire in the large fireplace in the evening lets you unwind from your day of fun! You can also sit outside on the back deck with your favorite drink & enjoy the beautiful, private backyard with a lush tropical inspired garden and gas grill. If cooking is your thing, then you will love this kitchen! It is fully equipped & includes a microwave, built-in refrigerator & double oven. The master bedroom offers a great night's sleep! French doors in the bedroom open to the deck. The sofa in the living room is ultra plush & also opens to a queen size bed with a high quality mattress. We do not accept pets in consideration of guests with allergies. Seacliff Beautification Award winner! The Beach: The cottage is steps from access, via two foot paths, to the beautiful Seacliff State Beach. This beach is known for its fishing pier and concrete ship, The Palo Alto. The beach is also a popular swimming spot and has restrooms and showers. There is a long stretch of sand backed by bluffs, and covered picnic facilities as well. The park also has an interpretive/visitor center. Highly recommended. Enjoy watching the sea lions play and the dolphins swimming by right off the coast! The distance to the beach path is a short block away. Whether you enjoy surfing, playing beach volleyball, or hiking along the coastal bluffs, Seacliff State Beach offers something for everyone. A place to picnic with the kids, or the perfect place for a romantic sunset stroll! Activities: You are minutes away from so many activities! We have included a book of things to do during your stay. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is 15 minutes(8.5 miles) away. You may want to explore the forests of Nisene Marks State Park for hiking or mountain biking. Nearby activities also include: biking, spas, kayaking, fishing, surfing, shopping and more. The Bedroom: The bedroom has a queen-size bed with pillow top mattress and is completed with Ralph Lauren bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep! There is a dresser, antique nightstands, bookcase and a full length mirror. The window looks out to the secret garden with an ocean view. The french doors open to the deck and tranquil backyard. Living Room: Relax in either of the ultra comfortable leather club chairs as you listen to music from the stereo or watch your favorite show. The plush sofa is perfect for reading a good book or great conversation, and at night opens to a queen size bed with an Air-Dream mattress, the best mattress available. There are plenty of linens, pillows and comforters available to ensure a restful night's sleep. Home Stereo throughout the cottage with a MP3 player adapter: You can hear music in one room or throughout the cottage by choosing speaker options. (Remember to bring your favorite music) The Bathroom: A tank-less water heater ensures that you will never run out of hot water in our cottage!! Great after a day at the beach. A hair dryer is provided for your convenience. Private back yard: The backyard and deck is a wonderful place to relax if you just feel like hanging out. We have an extra high fence providing privacy and seclusion. In consideration of those with allergies, we are not able to accommodate pets. Thank you.
